Re: No Update for a long time
Yeh, nobody who works on a Fallout 2 mod at this point expects to hit the big fame. It's really just the experience now.

Re: Mutants Rising for Mac
Actually, it very likely won't work unless latest Sfall release works on a Mac (which I doubt). You might be able to start it, but sooner or later there *will* be game breaking bugs.

Re: Trouble with fonts/scaling
ddraw.ini is scalling up the low resolution to your high resolution (but the amount of stuff you see is the same), while the f2_res.ini belongs to the high-res patch and defines your true game resolution. You can also set this ingame in the option menü, btw. I personally like to use a 1280x720px res...

Re: Trouble with fonts/scaling
You play in 640x480px with the 800px interface. You either have to switch to 800x600px or open up the f2_res.ini and change "IFACE_BAR_WIDTH=800" to "...=640". I personally suggest you to switch to the 800x600px resolution. It doesn't matter what version of Fallout 2 you use. Mut...

Re: Recruiting
While it is good technic-wise, I don't think it's fitting into the game. Everything is dialog based-- NPC dialogs, using terminals, having detailed stuff on scenery objects, using sl0t machines, etc. etc. So if you change one thing (like sl0t machines), you'll have to change Terminals and stuff as w...

Re: What would you like to see in the game?
Well, you will not become rich with donations for a sp mod, imo. I think it would be a good value already if you get 5 euro or so per month. And then the next question is: Who is going to get that money? :>

Re: What would you like to see in the game?
Donations isn't the same as "making money from the project." As example, the donations could be to the team, not the game. Besides, as long as you don't sell the game (donations isn't selling), nothing will happen. Proof: FOnline 2238 is getting Donations since 2+ years and so far nothing ...

Re: Demo Feedback
It's also possible that you are using a non-english Fallout 2 version (like french or german). In this case, you must open the Fallout2.cfg and change "language=english" to your langugage (i.e. german). Also you'll have to rename the "english" folder in fo2/data/text/ to your lan...

Re: Mutants Rising for Mac
This can be either due to the Mac being unable to read the patch000.dat's content or because Sfall doesn't work. Sfall is a windows thing and without it, quite a few features won't work anymore in any case.
