Lynette's cold and brutally massacred body impaled on a 12-foot metal pole coated with H2SO4. You choose through which hole, new one or any natural that she may have. That would be nice indeed, even if it would contradict MR's canon...

So make it special encounter or something :smirk:

Tempting. HF would be better at disolving bodies than H2SO4

Slow comes to mind rather than effective when it comes to dissolving speed in this case. Slow and painful :::D:

I like Skorn's idea... lol. I think a few special encounters like that would be fun. But also I think you should add some new weapons... I'm thinking special encounter equipment... example: "You encounter a small shack with a 'KEEP OUT, DANGER' sign posted on the door with large thick nails and a foul smelling gew"
Player can enter and find a dead body inside, next to a ladder. ladder leads to a carnage scene of dead mobsters and military(Enclave) bodies. Lockers all empty except one, has a gun in it labelled "R.E.A.P.E.R prototype 1" make some kind of unstable, carnage reaping, futuristic gun that leaves the player satisfied.

Cool little encounters thats offer rewards would be awesome, or just new weapons in general; one gets tired of having all the best weapons of the game after a while.

And some new melee/unarmed weapons would be great to make for a better experience and weapon progression for the HtH characters. Tactics was on the good track there with micro-sledge, machete and dynamite spear (that weapon really made me laugh :D: ) as well as a host of new "gloves" for brawlers (sappers, lacerators, shotgun glove and the like) as well as some of the VB concept ideas for weapons (not just melee). So even if you would simply import those weapons in MR it would be awesome. Here are a few potential weapons that are complementary with Fallout-o-verse and would IMO fit in nicely:

Chainsaw (I always wondered why they ignored this tool in the previous Fallout games), grass trimmers/edgers, firefighters axe, shovel (just upgrade it a bit so it can not only hurt dead people by digging them out of their graves but the living too by digging their brains), pneumatic drill (remember "From dusk till dawn" )...

Powered versions/modifications of the weapons stated above are a possibility but I'm not sure if that is a good idea (too much cyberpunk:p).

With the wakizashi already in the game, katana and tachi would be welcomed; you could add them in a form of a quest tied to elimination/teaming up with an Yakuza warrior (party npc?) or something.

And please make a special encounter where one can acquire the best melee weapon of all times - Proton Ax. :smirk: God I wished I had that one in Fallouts ~_~

How...one...can TAME...a centaur...??? Njah, it's just not plausible :P

What would be next after that? Floater farms and riding Wanamingos? :hm:...

Respect thy Fallout canon a bit more carefully...or we'll end up with more BOSes and Fallout: Bethesdas :S: :S: :S:

I remeber the good old time (Or with the RP, the good new times), my sister watching me playing Fallout 1,2 (and I have to admit it, 3 too). She absolutely loves Deathclaws - not to mention speaking Deathclaws

But one thing would be funny ... MadMax2-like: Many tribals around one cave, screaming things like "duell, duell" "waste him X/waste him Y"; and mostly "two go in, one comes out", while two of em go in (after talking about their duell), then some nasty sounds (all neatly described in the textbox) followed by silence and a deathclaw dragging both bodies out ... "two go in, one comes out"
(Perhaps a recruitabel Deathclaw-Party-Member? A Partymember with the uncanny quirk to talk from time to time about the distinctive taste of all the human and non-human races in the wastelands ... "hmmm chicken - taste like humans" :heh: - just hillarious, the perfect opposite of goody-twoshoes Gorris)

Porn or at least the possibility to make a movie, and getting "poisoned" if you don`t have a condom - would be nice too
(Moral: Protection doesn`t start with a Leather Armor Mk1  )

Some of the things you have mentined could be made into a special encoutnter as there are slots spare.

As for pornography... well, there are opportunities for sex in the game, as in the original, you'll just have to wait and see.

Hrhrhr a skeleton with a strange kind of hat like you have never seen before (stetson) on a not exploded bomb. No? Okay, would be maybe tooooo much graphical work. :hm:
(Hey wait - he musn`t be on the bomb - just near it - impact and so #Me great!!# :heh: )

But one thing riddels me, are there some special texts or special quests if your charakter is "special" (IQ 1-2). I just remembered those ridiculous situations in F2, like the conversation with Torr, or the "Gumping" in Navarro, where a dumb charakter comes easily in the commanders room - and the fact that these special Situations were very scarce.
(Oh, not to mention that even dogs are then smarter than you, from Laddie finaly to K9 - It seems your IQ is lower than my height in foot, sigh - great)

Greetings. In advance I apologise for the knowledge of English. I write from Russia, yes we as in a great interest observe of development a fashion and we wait for its exit.

I will describe the most distinct offers written at us at a forum.

1. Occurrence in game of Russian or is simple a mention, agree even our execution at the airport of vetriberds. One of powers which on any is got mixed up in the circumstances never discuss in the Fallout. All of us will be grateful.

2. Possibility to play for very malicious character. Not such as in children's fairy tales which will be made any by a reptile and will destroy the world. And to win back a role bad, coolly and the prudent murderer ready to pass through all for the sake of achievement of the dream or are whole.

3. Possibility to play game having made one shot (if it enters in idea Mutants Rising).

4. The increase in necessity and more frequent use, is earlier absolute useless skills (trade, gamblings, hide, science and etc).

5. Many interaction of subjects (for example the Breakage for door opening, a tooling for generator repairing and etc).

6. Increase in the price and necessity for meal, drink, sleep in a safe place, medicines and ammo. If the game cursor allows, also repair weapon, armor. I never give my gun for the 100 caps of cola, strange money.

7. The village, base, the house, the bunker, not very well. Any certain, successfully located place where it will be possible to drag any stuff to buy for the lotion house, to chain a dog, to ask to pass dealers through the house, where it is possible to leave the NPC, to use it as a reloading point or command point. What that your personal place which it will be possible to name the home.

From itself: At times the absolute impossibility to get to an emphasis from a machine gun in a huge elephant in a current of 10 turn. Likely it is all irritates also a variety in skills enemies (everyone marauder goes on 8 cages, and at everyone the loss 3-8), is not present any imperceptible enemy among weight which spoils all your calculations.

Good luck in your creative development, it is final successful and stable release.

Hello,

our "bigwigs" are currently busy, so I volunteered with my own admission to answer your post :)

Well, I cannot promise anything on the Russian Connection, but I'm sure to mention it to the team and we'll see what crops up.
2. Possibility to play for very malicious character. Not such as in children's fairy tales which will be made any by a reptile and will destroy the world. And to win back a role bad, coolly and the prudent murderer ready to pass through all for the sake of achievement of the dream or are whole.

There is of course the evil path, and I can assure you some of the choices you can make are VEEERRY EVIL and TWISTED :ugly:
You cannot completely avoid to fight, the wasteland is a harsh place. But more often than not, there is a diplomatic solution to problems.
4. The increase in necessity and more frequent use, is earlier absolute useless skills (trade, gamblings, hide, science and etc).

5. Many interaction of subjects (for example the Breakage for door opening, a tooling for generator repairing and etc).
Yes, we want to see that too. We're working on ways in which you can influence the NPCs and the world that surrounds you with your skills and items.
6. Increase in the price and necessity for meal, drink, sleep in a safe place, medicines and ammo. If the game cursor allows, also repair weapon, armor. I never give my gun for the 100 caps of cola, strange money.
We're discussing the possibilities to develop and include some of these mechanisms in the Expansion Pack.
7. The village, base, the house, the bunker, not very well. Any certain, successfully located place where it will be possible to drag any stuff to buy for the lotion house, to chain a dog, to ask to pass dealers through the house, where it is possible to leave the NPC, to use it as a reloading point or command point. I don't know anything about a home in MR, sorry.

Sorry, didn't quite understand this one. Are you saying enemies should be more varied and more intelligent?
Good luck in your creative development, it is final successful and stable release.

Many thanks for answers.

To me it was heavy say my thought in the previous post, as the sign only with the localised version of game.

1. When the protagonist want to shoot from a machine gun to a supermutant and miss, and in the answer the supermutant does too most and miss. At begin it was funny amuses, but in due course starts to irritate. In view of chance of hit 95 % has the strange tendency to miss and get to everybody, except the necessary purpose.

2. Edit intelligence of enemy it certainly is good, but vaguely I represent possibility of its editing if it is possible certainly it all would wish to see in MR. At difficult level of complexity quite often enemies want to attack the hero in the strongest фкьщк and with the powerful weapon and run to it, despite of distance or your partners, while your partners can freely kill the enemy from a spear, or a knife.

About a variety I had in view of, for example:
When you attack 4 identical Death Claws or rats, scorpions, for all for them the identical weapon, armor and a set of characteristics. It is possible to count easily as to interrupt all without having received a loss. But if though one of them possessed dexterity +1, endurance +1 and was not selected from the common group of enemies, it would allow it to run or shoot faster 2-3 times a course rather than its associates, it essentially would complicate game as in advance it will be not known with what speed he move and it will put what loss to you.
Little random SPECIAL and skills on identical enemy.

Like that group of enemy:
rat 5 AP 15HP 1-7Damage
rat 7 AP 15HP 1-7Damage
rat 5 AP 15HP 4-10Damage
rat 5 AP 30HP 1-7Damage
Big rat 7AP 30HP 4-10Damage

Small question. A slave-trade, prostitution, sex, a floor-mat and cruelty... in MR?

Once again thanks for your spent time in analysis of my scribble 8)

I actually remember encountering this a lot during my early plays of both FO1 and FO2; you would miss an enemy despite having 95% hit chance (not a problem though as the 5% miss chance remained, so you would naturally miss sometimes) but then the enemy would miss upon retaliating, and then you would miss AGAIN, and it all went on for a ridicolous amount of turns. Haven't thought about it lately, as it seems to have been fixed early on in the official versions of the game. Unless this is a problem specifically remaining in the local version of your game I doubt it will be a problem when playing MR though (that said; I'm a writer, not a scripter, so maybe some of the other guys here has some more insight).

As for the AI of creatures in MR I'm fairly certain that the scripters are holding on to the original AI with some changes (once more, I don't know how taxing the script-process of building combat AI is; I just take care of the profanity they spout when getting hit  )
About a variety I had in view of, for example
Variation in enemy statistic is always something I personally want to see, in order to keep the player on his/her toes. I guess it wouldn't be that much of a hassle doing this, but I only joined a month or so ago, so the other guys would need to answer this.
Small question. A slave-trade, prostitution, sex, a floor-mat and cruelty... in MR?
I guess that you mean to ask if there is such elements in MR. And yes, it is; wouldn't be Fallout without it :run: ... But I'm a little stumped by 'floor-mat'? Don't really see what your gunning for there

Good to know that the support for MR is so widespread; you won't be dissapointed when it comes. A LOT of time, sweat, and blood has been poured into this project. Thanks for the interest man :lolz:
