Was good and falloutish overall for the first 15 minutes of play. After that it continually crashed while loading or when attempting to leave Elko. Guess the guy wasn't ready yet for the big outdoors :p

So I'll rather wait for the full game than lose what's left of my nerves in an never ending anticipation and despair following each unsuccessful game load.

Other than that, Mutant Rising seems to be made out of pure enriched radioactive awesomite. =)) Props to the core team, 'cause if Cain could see your work I'm sure as hell that he would be more than proud

This surprises me. Where exactly does it crash for you? When attempting to leave the bunker? If so, that's the end anyway!

The moment I exit to the world map, which can be seen for a few brief nanoseconds after I step on the exit grid, the game crashes back to desktop. And several times when I tried to load a save after steal attempt(s) it also crashed instantly. The reasons for this are unknown to me, but I believe that it might be a bad/conflicting script or a glitch characteristic for my machine. Other than that, it was as smooth as the original (Fallout 2).

The demo is only a pale shadow of ELko as it is now.

It's supposed NOT to work after the bunker so I'm not surprised if it crashes.

Stealing is something I will look into. I had some errors with this. Also had a guy with 99999 SMG's in his bag. Must have been some bag!!!

I haven't tested the mod myself as of yet (Have to install Fallout 2 with Wine on my Linux lappy, just been lazy), but from what I can see- MR is bloody well worth the wait. F3 butchered the series (albeit, was fun), and you guys have something solid. The gallery speaks for itself and the quality behind this mod I am sure is nothing short of superb.

I just want to say I appreciate what your team is doing for the Fallout community. I first played Fallout when i was like 12 (Good parents, eh?) and fell in love with it. Since then try to replay them every so often. Recently, Ive been having severe Fallout withdraws even having just beat Fallout 2 the other day. :( i miss the good ol'e Fallout and i was losing hope that i would ever see anything like it again. Good luck to you guys and i look forward to enjoying your game in the near future.

Hi everyone!
Like Mondo Generator, I feel like its time for me
to register and say how much I respect and appreciate
your work in modding Fallout 2 and bringing us a whole
new experience !

I should have done that months ago since Im following
your forum and the nma forum for quite a long time now...
but I think it's never too late :)

For a time, I've wondered if I could have helped in the
writing, but... english is not my native language,
my first try with the FMF editor ended with an error screen
when I tried to reload my previous dialogue, and besides
your team seems now complete and not far to see the
light at the end of the tunnel !

So, keep up the good work, I am, like many I hope, really looking
forward to play MR !

You're welcome, M Kiss Fan ;)

Support is the only thing I can offer to the MR team;
that's not much but I felt I should post a little "Thanks"
cause I already know I will appreciate every second of
the mod.

I've been waiting for this mod for six years, and I still can't wait, I hope you guys publish more info just before release, build the hype you know?

Anyways I'm glad you guys stuck through, and can't wait to play.

It will be shit. My inside informant tells me that there has been a switch from the good old fo2 engine to the fo3 engine, that's why they haven't released it yet.

Nah, just kidding, it's going to be awesome! Like I've always been saying. Oh and hey guys, I'm here to annoy you, and be generally irritating. :run:

Hey Guys!

I've just seen your website update and I must
say that it's just amazing!
The new artwork you've shown is wonderful (I can't
wait to see more) and really bend the game in
a nice direction.
And the khans seems to be a really fun place to
play ;)
The flyer is also a very nice piece of art!

The idea of new set of tutorials is very good,
and Im sure, will be very appreciated. Did you
already choose the way to do it : written or video
tutorials ?

Anyway, keep up the good work ;
Your team really delivers!

Trying not to get too excited, I've been waiting something like this since Van Buren was cancelled.

Top work guys for doing this on your own, enough thanks can't be expressed.

Why waiting for the NMA update when the source of informations
is at hand

Now I must confess that the "old" pc gamer that I am, with not
much interest in modern gaming, and a laptop that will burn if
it tries to run anything released after 2006, make me state that
MR will undoubtfully be my game of the year... 2010 ?

And when I see the flyer, MR looks like an "all star mod", so I'm
pretty confident that it will meet all the expectations that the
fan base could imagine !
