We might need one or two more pieces. Can we hear you anywhere?hahahaweee wrote:do you need any extra music work done?
Ripping and flipping is a term coined by Pixote, who is the true master of the trade. Ripping and flipping consists in taking the original artworks used in Fallout games (walls, scenery - such as cars, tiles, etc.) and making new pieces by combining various parts of the original artworks, re-painting them, adding new details etc. Here is a perfect example of masterful ripping and flipping:also, what exactly are you looking for in the rip&flip? Are we talking full screens for loading and such or additional items or scenes or can I just do whatever and is there a preferred format?
Ripping and flipping also includes stealing art from other games (most notably Tactics and Fallout 3/NV) and adjusting it to fit Fallout 2 style (painting over 3D models, adjusting Tactics art angle, desaturating colours that are too vivid, etc.).
Basically, we need another art builder to relieve Pixote of some of the workload.
Cool. Find a dialogue file of one of the Fallout 1 or 2 non-Talking Head characters (you can find complete transcripts of dialogue files on The Vault) and record a dozen of his/her lines. Put them in a ZIP file and send us a link to RapidShare, MediaFire or a service like that. We'll listen to your recordings and if you fit the bill, we'll be happy to have you.also, I have a fairly good mic (used for garage band recording currently) and am an English speaker so if you need an extra voice I can read some lines.
