Positions Available

Hi all,

Here's a few positions that we would like to fill to push this mod to where it deserves to be.

Artists. 2D and 3D - can never get enough of them. Especially if you can make talking heads!
Voice actors - we may have some things that need a voice. Contact Dude101 for more details on this.
Movie editors - think you can make a good fallout movie? Well, we need you! There are a couple of movies that we wish to add to the mod.

Things we are not looking for at the moment.

Mappers.
Musicians
Writers.

Most of the mapping, music and writers is either done or in the hands of current team members.

I would provide my service as an amature musician and voice actor. I would also love to help with the game! But, I am not the most intelligent and I am afraid I would need extensive tutorials to understand.
But once I did learn I could work every day.

Unless you've already been contacted by the big wigs: Glad you're interested, but we've already had our fill and dessert on musicians :lolz:. Voice acting is welcome, however; none of us have the time to 'teach the trade' as we're caught up in RL and MR, so there isn't much free time for us to navigate. I suggest that, if you're really interested, you learn the ropes and return to us with material showing your voice acting. Good luck mate :smil2:

An update on positions available:

3D artists - always something that can be done. - particularly if you can make talking heads.
Movie artists - if you can make a movie in the style of fallout .

No more mappers / dialogue writers as those things are almost done now.

Hello, my name is Bleusilences, maybe some of you dudes have seen me as" Hopper" on New Mutants Allowed.
I wanna join the Dev team, I am a fond of fallout modding, No skills in scripts (my only "obstacle" for serious mod making).

Thought, I got some skills in 2D Art, I could be a voice actor, I'm young, so I can maybe make Child/Younger voices.
My skills in 2D art are mostly editing existing artwork for making new eye candy, Weapons, Scenery.

Actually, I don't know anything in 3D creation, If someone could teach me some, I could be interested.

Hi Bleusilences/Hopper. Sorry to say, but we're good in the rip and flip (2D) department. We need filmmakers and possibly 3D artists. We don't have time and resources to teach you 3D art from scratch, so that's a no. As for voice acting, could you do some recordings of your voice reading e.g. Tandi's dialogue from F1 and send it or a link to it to me via PM? When I say Tandi, I don't mean you should do a female voice - just act the lines in your normal voice imagining Tandi is a guy (if you're a guy yourself, of course).

Sorry, this may not have been very coherent, I've just woken up, my brain needs some time to start working correctly.

Okay Ardent, damn that your are full at the 2D size, because I have done many Mapper artwork experiments.... I can alaways give you some additional 2D Art file, If needed.

For voice acting, Okay, I will try this as soon as possible, actually, I deleted fallout 1 from my HD, but I can always reinstall it :smil2: .
But sadly, I only have a Pc-integtred microphone, hope that quality is going to be good.
Oh, yes I'm a boy! :::D:

About Tandi's speech, what humour should I have? what type of voice? Aged man? younger? sad? angry? happy?

Sorry to butt in here Ardent

@Blue: I'd say that you should try a young adult or child voice that resembles your 'normal' voice to some degree (as you said that you're pretty young). And as for what humour I suggest you try and adapt an 'emotional tone' to your voice consistent with what is being said (y'know, like when someone gets really, really angry their voice either drops to nearly a whisper filled with contempt, or maybe rises in volume due to frustration and unkempt anger). The original voice-over for Tandi already matches the emotional tone to the dialogue pretty well actually, so try listening to it if you're unsure about how to add the right kind of emotion to the dialogue.

Good luck, and thanks for taking an interest!

Oh darn, I've gotten turned around again. I'll just scuttle off to my writing now :nin:

BTW Blue, I've seen some of your 2D art on NMA while lurking the forums and you've got potential. However as Ardent said, Mutants Rising already has it's fair share of 2D art sorted already.
